Defonsio Daniels
“Real Representation begins with showing up, listening, and staying accountable to the people.”
A Life of Service and Responsibility
Defonsio Daniels is a Marine veteran, former law-enforcement officer, early-childhood educator, business owner, community organizer, and working-class advocate. His life has been defined by a deep commitment to service, discipline, and taking responsibility for the well-being of his community.
As a Marine, Defonsio learned the importance of honor, courage, and commitment. These values guided him through his years in law enforcement, where he saw firsthand the challenges facing our public safety systems and the importance of building trust between the community and those who serve it.
Transitioning into education, Defonsio focused on early childhood development, recognizing that a stronger Georgia begins with providing every child with the tools they need to succeed. As a business owner and community organizer, he has worked to create opportunities and advocate for the working families who are the backbone of District 180.
Rooted in Our Community
“Defonsio understands the challenges working families face because he has lived them. He has spent years listening at doors, community events, and kitchen tables—hearing directly from people about the issues that affect their daily lives.”
Show Up. Listen. Deliver.
Real representation begins with showing up. Defonsio has personally walked thousands of miles across District 180 because he believes you cannot lead a community if you don't listen to it first.
